Privacy policy

What we collect

• If you sign in, we store your email address, a hashed session token, and the time of your last login. Sign-in works through one-time email links, so there is no password to store.
• If you claim a listing, we store the claim status and the email you used to verify it against the tool's domain.
• If you upvote a tool, we store which signed-in account upvoted which tool.
• If you submit a tool, we store the form fields you entered and a hashed IP address used only for rate limiting.
• Server logs on Cloudflare hold request metadata (IP address, user agent, URL) for a short period for abuse prevention.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share personal data with vendors listed here. We do not run advertising trackers. Emails are sent through Resend for sign-in links and submission receipts only.

Third parties

The site runs on Cloudflare. Tool logos are loaded from Google's favicon service, which receives the request for the icon file but no account data.

Your rights

Email hello@seotools.directory to see or delete what we hold about you. Deleting an account removes sessions, upvotes, and pending claims; verified ownership of a listing is removed with it.
